    Career

He started his career with Harrah’s Entertainment where he built data driven customer experiences through human capital alignment and training. Following this role, he worked for Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity as Director of Alumni Engagement and later as the Chief Operating Officer. In his nine years as COO, he managed operations, expansion and growth, training and education, communications, technology, and lifelong member engagement. He led a staff of 50 who more than doubled membership, facilitated a successful organization re-brand, partnered with the Foundation to raise more than $9.3 million in major gifts and led the organization through a strategic plan and crafted and implemented another.

Most recently, he was the Chief Executive Officer of FarmHouse Fraternity where he provided strategic leadership and course-altering direction for a centennial organization of more than 30,000 members through a period of financial recovery, a global pandemic and damaging brand and legal issues for the association and industry. He facilitated a redesign of human capital, which better reflected environmental trends, the organization’s strategic needs and the evolving market for membership and higher education associations. Under his leadership the team redefined and grew revenue channels and provided depth in the membership experience, using unique technology, communication and programming strategies. He facilitated the modernization of the organization’s data and technology infrastructure, evolving the association from legacy solutions to cloud-based and secure platforms that better served the analytical and practical needs of the staff, while also providing a stronger member engagement experience. Christian partnered with Foundation leadership to grow unrestricted annual support, as well as unrestricted assets, to support the educational, staffing and administrative burdens of the organization. This work transformed the financial situation, so that one-third of all revenue was provided through donor support.

    Community & Home

Over the course of his career, Wiggins has served on more than two dozen non-profit boards, spanning a variety of causes, including those that serve higher education and fraternities and sororities, as well as those that benefit women, the LGBTQ community, local healthcare and community development. He has given almost two decades of volunteer service at multiple levels with his Alma Mater, mostly recently completing a term as co-chair for the final year of the $260 million Elon LEADS Campaign.

Christian lives in Kansas City, MO with his partner and their four year old black lab, Lumen. In his spare time Christian enjoys time with friends, traveling, cheering on the Chiefs, reading (especially biographies and works of history), home improvement projects, investing, volunteering and staying active in his community.
